act that causes or could have caused serious
injury to others or him/her self, can be
expelled from the History of Heroes Event by the
History of Heroes Safety & Security Director or
Event Commander.

A practical joke for purposes of these rules is
defined to be an act or trick played on someone

We don’t want any participant to spend a night
in jail because of a “joke” taken in the “wrong
way” that might lead to a confrontation.
Health:
Living history and reenacting can be a strenuous
hobby and is not recommended for those with
physical conditions that limit this type of
activity. If a member has a heart condition or
other ailment that may stop him or her from
participating, the member should consult a
doctor before participating in an event. Members
are responsible for verifying their own health
status.

Substance Abuse, Alcohol:
A. Smoking shall only be allowed in safe areas
designated by the presiding local, municipal,
state and/or Federal authorities and/or the Kern
County Museum.

(These are grounds for immediate expulsion and
legal processing)
C. The consumption of alcohol at HOH is allowed
only in the permitted and designated beer and
wine vending area permitted by the California
